Herein, we disclose a synthetic strategy for the preparation of functionalized thiazinones under exceptionally ambient condition via domino multicomponent click reaction. The protocol utilizes readily available starting materials: phenylisothiocyanates, hydrazine monohydrate and diethyl but-2-ynedioate or dimethyl but-2-ynedioate.
